Quantum Rail undertakes inspection of vessels and Air Receiver tanks as per Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 (PSSR). The aim of enforcing PSSR is to prevent serious injury from the hazard of stored energy, as a result of the failure of a pressure system or its components these regulations are concerned with steam at any pressure, gases with pressures in excess of 0.5 bar (15PSI) G and mixtures of liquids, gases and vapors with pressures in excess of 0.5 bar G. Quantum Rail offers, Written Scheme of Examination (WSOE), Competent Person and testing facilities, either in situ or testing of the vessels in our facilities.
All Q Rail vessel inspectors are NDT and ASME qualified to carry out the inspections of pressure systems on highest standards.
